The Werewolves
You hear the werewolves howl,
It pierces the night,
You glance out the window,
But your mother hurries you away,
You protest,
Then there's another howl,
You love the sound,
You hear the scamper of paws,
The shriek of worried mothers,
A battle is fighting outside,
You bare your teeth,
"Vampires!"
You cackle wickedly,
Going off into a fit of giggles,
Your mother runs away,
Trying to make you go too,
But your stubborn,
You open the door and peer out carefully,
The werewolves won,
The vampires' ashes being blown away by the wicked wind,
You cheer,
The werewolves turn as they change back to human,
They smile at you,

Werewolves
            Drip… drip… drip… The blood fell in a monotonous rhythm. My back was cut from the whip and my front was covered in tiny cuts from the rough wall. My wrists had matching bruises and my arms were screaming in pain from nearly being pulled out of their sockets. My feet dangled uselessly just above the ground.
           Calloused hands gently unlocked the shackles and caught me before I fell, cradling me carefully against a smooth, sweat covered chest.
           "Shh… baby." His gentle words soothed me. "You're down now. You're okay."
           I curled into a ball in his arms, and he massaged small circle

A bitter bite
Of pale moonlight
A shiver of pain
Beast overcomes brain
Fickle and furry
Through the trees they hurry
Air full of cries
Moon reflecting eyes
Silver and white
Howls in the night
WerewolvesWEREWOLVES  (LYCANS/LYCANTHROPES)
(my thoughts on this species)

· would be a creature, half man, half wolf; a creature that looks like a wolf and  walks upright
· would have a good physique
· would be taller and stronger than a human
·  would have a nearly human brain but with an undeniable animal instinct
· the lycan would be allergic to silver
· in human form, the lycanthrope is able to eat regular human food, but in wolf form, the lycanthrope can drink bagged blood, but usually the animal instinct takes over and they feed on live prey, humans a treat
· would be able to move extremely fast and would have very keen senses

A piece inspired by the book Bitten (and its sequel Broken) of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong, about a werewolf named Elena Micheals. This is how I imagine the Change from human to wolf.

Nice job on the proportions and transition. The grass and trees look a bit less realistic - the tree branches don't look long enough. But overall quite well done.

The figures are done well in photoshop! I'm not too keen on the gradient night sky because it looks like a photoshop gradient, a bit of texture could take it to a new level.
